2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on our website. If you are under 18, you may use our services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By placing an order, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Contract Act 1872 of Bangladesh.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Products and Pricing

4.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to display product colors, dimensions, and specifications as accurately as possible. However, actual products may vary slightly due to screen settings and manufacturing tolerances. Product images on the website are for illustration purposes.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (৳/BDT) and include applicable VAT where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, but price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and offer the option to cancel or proceed at the correct price.

4.3 Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time. If an ordered product is unavailable, we will notify you and offer a full refund or an alternative product.

5. Orders and Payment

5.1 Order Acceptance

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline your order at our discretion. An order confirmation email or SMS does not constitute acceptance — acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• bKash: Mobile financial service payment
• Nagad: Digital financial service payment
• Cash on Delivery (COD): Available across all 64 districts of Bangladesh
• Bank Transfer: Direct bank transfer to our designated account

All mobile financial service transactions are subject to the applicable terms and conditions of bKash/Nagad and the regulations of Bangladesh Bank.

5.3 Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible, and you will need to follow our Refund Policy for returns.

6. Delivery

We deliver across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, and delivery is free on orders placed through our website. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on your location:

• Inside Dhaka: 1–3 business days
• Outside Dhaka (divisional cities): 3–5 business days
• Remote areas (upazila/rural): 5–7 business days

Risk of loss and title to products passes to you upon delivery. Delivery is subject to accessibility of the provided address and availability of our courier partners.

7. Prescription Eyewear

For prescription orders, you are responsible for providing accurate prescription details. Laga Choshma is not liable for eyewear made with incorrect prescriptions provided by the customer. We recommend having your prescription verified by a registered optometrist. Prescription orders may require additional processing time of 3–5 business days.

When you order a frame with power lenses on our website:

• You choose your lens type on the product page. The lens price is shown before checkout and added to your order total.
• You can type your prescription values when ordering, or send us a clear photo of your prescription on WhatsApp with your order number.
• Lens production starts after we have your prescription and have confirmed your order. Power lens orders may take longer to deliver than frame-only orders.
• You are responsible for choosing a frame size that fits you. Please use the Size guide on the product page, or contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, and software — is the property of Laga Choshma or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act 2000 and the Trademarks Act 2009 of Bangladesh. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Bangladeshi law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract content from the website
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the website in any manner that could damage or interfere with its operation
• Post or transmit content that violates the Digital Security Act 2018 or Cyber Security Act 2023

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladeshi law:

• Laga Choshma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters (বন্যা, ঝড়), strikes, government actions, or disruptions to delivery infrastructure

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We encourage you to first contact us directly to resolve any issues. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:

• Consumer complaints may be filed with the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) under the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009
• Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via email or website notice.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction in Bangladesh, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
